Salad Dressing, Fat Free 3-2-1
Easy and Delicious.
In clean glass bottle pour in the following:
3 oz+- of a really good balsamic vinegar, (use much less if you don't like a really tangy flavor)
2 oz of a good mustard, plain or fancy... either is delicious.
1 +- oz of 100% *Pure Maple Syrup. (you can substitute this with a couple Tablespoons of date paste if you prefer) Use a little more of either for a sweeter dressing.
Put lid on jar and shake like there's no tomorrow, until thoroughly blended. If using dates as your sweetener, use a nutribullet or other blender to totally blitz it.
Pour liberal amounts over your favorite salad. Trust me, it is awesome.
If you make the version using date paste, you may wish to blitz it in the blender for just a minute or so. If you have never made date paste, simply deseed about 8 dates, soak them in 1/4 cup hot water for about an hour, then blend.
Some GREAT modifications you can make, consider adding one or more of the following:
2 tsp of Ground Flax Seeds (will make a thicker dressing)
1/4 tsp of Italian seasoning
10-12 raw cashews (no longer fat free but very delicious)
2 T of Nutritional Yeast
